The Hipstel - Barcelona

Archivio Autore

Very nice experience

The Hipstel is located in the center of Barcelona, 10-15 minutes walking to Placa Catalunya from where you can get a bus to the airport, metro, train, or buses to all the other corners of Barcelona. It has nice friendly employees and it is clean.
On the negative side, they mixed my booking and I had to move from one room to another, and in the actual; room there was another girl who moved in 2 other rooms before ending up in the right room. And also the bed was the nosiest bed i have ever slept in. It was creaking even when I was only touching it.
All in all it is a great place to stay!

Most enjoyable

A lovely clean and friendly hostel in the heart of the city, round the corner from Passeig de Gràcia and only a short, but very interesting walk from Las Ramblas. You walk past Casa Mila if you turn right out of the hostel, then right again. They even recommend some excellent nights out, even at other rival hostels. I had a fantastic night watching local flamenco dancers and drinking very large, very cheap home made cocktails. Hoping to return very soon. ps I did all this in low season, so looking forward to hi season giddyness

The most amazing Hostel ever!

This hostel had the best location,staff,decor,vibe,price..basically the best of everything you could ask for ,and in a fascinating city like Barcelona at that!It really is too good to believe, the super friendly staff will provide you with home cooked food for dinner every night at the nominal additional price of 5Euros..which everyone eats together in a very chilled out and relaxed atmosphere, sometimes ending with guitar sing along if one of the more musical guests is around. If I’m back in Barcelona,I would stay nowhere else! To top it all,its walking distance to Casa Battlo and Casa Mila.Plus,if it couldn’t get any better, they have have unlimited free coffee at the coffee machine.

Great staff, excellent facilities, 5-star amenities–book a bed or room at the hipstel you will not be disappointed! Dinner offered to guests each night only 5 euro, awesome pub crawls and much more! The hippest hostel in Barcelona.

A great choice!

I had a really fantastic time at the Hipstel. They have a great staff who are really friendly and always available to help. The hostel can be really social if thats what you want (I was travelling alone so it was perfect for me to meet people) but if its what you need, you can do your own thing as well. Another great aspect was the location – easy to get there from the airport, easy to walk to major tourist spots, easy to take the metro. Really recommend this hostel!

Great place

This is a perfect hostel. Good service, nice people and a lot of information about the city. I traveled with some friends and all of us had a good review of this place. If I travel to Barcelona again I will come back to this place.

I loved it!

What an amazing stay! Location was pefect, the 24h check in perfect and the staff even better! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. You pay €5 for a home made dinner made by talented Italian hands which you can enjoy with the other travellers that are staying there. This place is great if you’re going on your own or with friends, either way you still get to meet great people. I’m really happy that I chose it. Awesome experience :)

Awesome Spot

This hostel was really great, I got to meet a lot of people. Barcelona is a beautiful city, it’s really big and spread out. There is a lot to see and a lot of places to explore. The hostel had great staff, if you ever needed anything you could just ask and they would do their best to help you out or make you feel at home. I liked how the staff knew quite a few different languages, that made it more interesting. It was great that they offered breakfast, it wasn’t much, but for a student traveling it was perfect! The bathrooms were a bit small for having so many people on one floor, but other then that, my stay was wonderful, everyone was very welcoming.
